DESCRIPTION

As shown by Daniel Goleman's research, it is Emotional Intelligence (EQ) that makes and keeps someone employed. He has found that IQ takes second position to EQ in determining outstanding job performance because it is the human talents and qualities that makes and keeps one employed. When an organization has employees with higher EQ they will interact with leadership, management, co-workers, residents/patients and families more effectively. Join us for this 6 hour interactive facilitated session and small groups discussions, to learn more about your personal EQ, how to adapt your style to be more effective with others and how to build better working relationships.

Key take-aways:

  • Higher level of emotional intelligence about different behavior styles in the workforce
  • Greater understanding on the impact being able to adapt behavior has to better meet the diverse workforce and clients
  • Explore how this creates an environment that

       - Encourages all employees to perform at their best and work from their strengths
       - Can increase levels of trust and help all address tough issues effectively

All participants will complete an online Everything DiSC Workplace Personal Profile which will be reviewed and assessed during the training. This valuable assessment tool will be included in the cost of the training.
