This beginners-level webinar will explain how pain is now considered the 5th vital sign by many. Understanding the symptoms and managing pain can take many forms. AGENDA
The webinar will begin at 9:30 am EST and conclude at 11:30am EST.
The webinar will be 2 hours each.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Nursing Home Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, any team member involved in managing operations and CMS regulations for the organization.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
NHA: LeadingAge Michigan Educational Foundation has applied for continuing education contact hours with the Michigan Board of Nursing Home Administrators.

NURSES: LeadingAge Michigan Educational Foundation (WNA-0558-001) is an approved provider of continuing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, as accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

SOCIAL WORKERS:
 LeadingAge Michigan Educational Foundation, provider #1499, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. LeadingAge Michigan Educational Foundation maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 4/10/18 to 4/10/19. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits. Social workers participating in this course will receive 2 continuing education clock hours.

In order to receive the continuing education credits for the webinar you must, sign in to GoToMeeting, stay for the entire length of the webinar and complete the follow up survey. Once the survey has been completed you will be emailed your certificate of attendance. Certificates can also be printed upon course and evaluation completion by logging into your profile at www.leadingagemi.org
