Join us along with Phyllis Adams, Attorney with Dykema, for this one-hour live webinar as we address senior housing admission considerations for individuals with a higher level of care. Learn what the legal rights are for the provider, as well as the legal rights and responsibilities of the resident/patient. This presentation will share several case studies to illustrate some of the issues and provide possible solutions. Live Q&A will be offered with our legal expert.

OBJECTIVES
Learners will be able to:

  • Describe orientation to Fair Housing Act issues related to admission of individuals to senior housing and reasonable accommodation of individuals with disabilities.
  • Explain the limitations on admission of individuals needing licensed home for the aged services or licensed nursing home services.
  • Review of case studies on various admission scenarios and legal obligations under the FHA and state licensing laws.
