DESCRIPTION
In 2016, the Final Rule which revised the requirements that Long-Term Care facilities included a broader infection prevention and control program (IPCP). In 2017, nursing facilities were required to develop an antibiotic stewardship program and now, as of November 28, 2019, the final requirement includes specialized training in infection prevention and control for the individual(s) responsible for the facility’s IPCP. We are pleased to bring you a series of webinars that will provide your designated Infection Preventionist(s) with specialized training in infection prevention and control practices which will satisfy one of the requirements for F882 Infection Preventionist Qualification Role.
