DESCRIPTION
With the advent of PDPM, the dramatically different payment model for SNFs, and the resulting changes in the RAI MDS 3.0 Version 1.17 Manual, MDS coordinators may find themselves lost in the number of new rules and processes. This live 6-hour webinar series is offered in one hour increments over a three week period to provide an introduction to coding based on MDS 3.0 Chapter 3. The entire Interdisciplinary team (IDT) will gain from a closer understanding of the foundations and the new coding rules.

Participants will gain a fundamental understanding of the requirements for completion of the MDS 3.0, interpret the regulatory requirements of the RAI Manual, and learn how to enhance the on-boarding and training process for IDT members who enter information into the MDS.

Our live 6-hour webinar series will be offered in one-hour increments, completed over three weeks, and will provide an introduction to coding chapter three of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 for the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) which includes: MDS Nurse, Social Service, Dietary, Recreational Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech and Language Pathologist.
