Description
COVID-19 has presented many situations that forces us to work and respond differently. This series will cover a wide range of topics related to pandemic issues and how facilities can adapt to new and evolving changes and updates. Topics covered during this series include infection control, MDS coding, admission criteria and more. Our content expert, Chelsea Lowe with HealthPRO Heritage will share easy and successful strategies for facilities to ensure compliance and implementation of best practices. This training is appropriate for Administrators, DONs, Admissions, MDS Coordinators, and any staff involved in management and operations. 

September 3 – Common Coding and Documentation Errors Under COVID-19
Review specific items of the MDS, care plans and nursing documentation that could improve or need focused on under COVID-19.

September 17 – Preparing for the Second Wave
As fall approaches, there are many indicators that we might have a second wave. This webinar will discuss what should remain a focus and how to prepare if the pandemic continues.

October 1 – The New Admission Process
This looks at what should be in place if COIVD cases continue to rise and how a facility will need to be prepared to accommodate those residents as new admissions.
