LeadingAge Michigan consistently delivers the resources and expertise needed for SNF regulatory success. Throughout this era of rapid change and disruption, we have been the conduit for training and educational experiences that truly support the mission-based provider.

Over the years, we have established a set of trainings and tools that members rely on to build performance and outcomes. LeadingAge Michigan is pleased to offer the following resources to assist members in serving our seniors. While many of the resources below will touch upon regulatory issues as they arise, visit our Education Calendar, SNF Phase 3 Implementation, Managed Care, and our PDPM Pages for more specific information.

Regulatory Support Tools

LeadingAge Insights & Quality Metrics uses a collection of tools on performance and positioning, including data benchmarking, survey analysis, and access to experts. Five Star Trending Reports are provided by LeadingAge Michigan members on a quarterly basis. Trend reports allow outcome comparisons to county, state, and national benchmarks.

DON Networking Opportunities are available to members throughout the year. Our Director of Regulatory Strategy, Laura Funsch, hosts regional DON meetings around the state on a quarterly basis. Agenda topics generally includes regulatory updates, recent survey experiences, sharing of practices, upcoming educational opportunities and issues which are keeping members awake at night.

The Compliance Store is an online comprehensive regulatory resource for SNF providers and includes a library of manuals and tools to assist with regulatory compliance and best practice. LeadingAge Michigan works with the Compliance Store to ensure member access to timely education and tools.

The Latest Wrinkle is the LeadingAge Michigan bi-weekly newsletter that supports the mission-based providers with timely regulatory information, member updates, and background knowledge to track important issues as they emerge.

The LeadingAge Michigan SNF Listserv enables active discussion with peers across the state about regulations, policies, and best practices.
